abstract = "This tutorial describes the objectives and applications of Natural Language Generation. In order to cut down the generation process, two stages of the language production process haven been considered: deep generation and surface generation. The paper also includes the integration of generation in a natural language interface and a taxonomy of the natural language generators according to the interaction between the mentioned stages in the generation process.

Este tutorial presenta cu{\'a}les son los objetivos y aplicaciones de la Generaci{\'o}n de Lenguaje Natural. Para abordar el proceso de generaci{\'o}n, se consideran dos fases: generaci{\'o}n profunda y superficial. Este trabajo muestra tambi{\'e}n la integraci{\'o}n de la generaci{\'o}n en un interfaz de lenguaje natural y una clasificaci{\'o}n de los generadores de lenguaje natural seg{\'u}n la interacci{\'o}n entre las fases citadas.",
