Agents and Social Simulation

In the research of intelligent agents working group has focused on three areas:architecture, development methodologies and applications of agents in networks andtelematic services.

Big Data and Machine Learning

This area includes the distributed diagnosis and classification, large-scale semantic search, social networking analysis, and analysis of emotions and feelings.

IR and Sentiment Analysis

In this area we work on the analysis of feelings and emotions in social networks, semantic search and NLP interfaces, and  the development of tools for word processing.

Linked Data and Semantic Technologies

We are interested in the applicaiton of semantic technologies in the Social Web as well as Internet of Things.

Web and Service engineering

In this line of work, the group is researching and implementing methodologies andtechnologies that enable agile development of applications, including Web services, enhancing reliability and safety.
